WALKER COUNTY, ALA. – Walker County is continuing its participation in the nationwide America250 commemoration with upcoming events celebrating the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States. The county launched its America250 celebration in April 2025 with “Two Lights for Tomorrow” commemorations and has continued with initiatives like community cleanups. Additional events are
