LeaderSports Featured Athlete: Cade Channell, Dora High School

Standing tall at 6’5″ and weighing in at 285 lbs., Cade Channell is a formidable presence on the field. As a key player on the Dora Bulldogs’ offensive line, Cade is set to make a significant impact this fall. With a football scholarship to Arkansas State on the horizon, Cade’s future in the sport is bright.

Cade also excels academically, maintaining a 4.19 GPA and earning membership in the DHS Beta Club. With several dual enrollment classes under his belt at Bevill State Community College, Cade is a well-rounded student-athlete.

He also serves as a mentor through the Peer Helper program at Dora High School, offering guidance and support to his fellow students. Beyond the classroom, Cade is a leader in his community, actively serving at the Mission of Hope and various local churches whenever opportunities arise.

Cade is the son of Brandon and Cammie Channell, and he is eagerly anticipating his graduation in 2025. WL
