Last night, the Curry Yellow Jackets traveled south to face the Oakman Wildcats in an intercounty showdown, concluding with Oakman prevailing over Curry with a score of 62-25.
Rick Johnson led Oakman’s performance, amassing an impressive 22 points. Following closely were Aidan Carson with 15 points and Bridger Upton with 12 points.
Ethan Barton led the charge for Curry with nine points, accompanied closely by JD Sickles, who notched six points.

Earlier in the evening, each school’s girls’ teams faced off, resulting in the Curry Yellow Jackets (5-8) securing a victory over the Oakman Wildcats (0-10) with a commanding score of 63-26.
Looking ahead, Oakman’s boys (8-1) are set to face the Victory Christian Lions at home on January 5 at 5 p.m., while Curry’s boys (1-14) will be hitting the road to take on the Sumiton Christian Eagles on January 5 at 7 p.m. WL
