Bevill State Community College is expanding educational opportunities for healthcare professionals with the launch of a new Mobility Evening Cohort at its Jasper Campus for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Paramedics. Applications for the Fall 2027 Mobility Evening Cohort will open on March 3, 2027.
The new evening cohort is designed to provide qualified LPNs and Paramedics with a flexible pathway to continue their education while balancing work, family, and other commitments. Students accepted into the program will have the opportunity to advance toward becoming registered nurses through Bevill State’s nationally recognized Nursing Program.
Applicants must meet all Nursing Program admission requirements and complete all required prerequisite coursework before admission into the program.
“Healthcare professionals are essential to the well-being of our communities, and Bevill State is proud to provide additional pathways for LPNs and Paramedics to continue their education,” said Dr. Joel Hagood, President of Bevill State Community College. “The addition of the evening mobility cohort at our Jasper Campus reflects our commitment to expanding access to high-quality nursing education while helping meet the growing demand for skilled healthcare professionals throughout our region. We are excited to help these dedicated professionals take the next step in their careers.”
The Mobility Evening Cohort offers working healthcare professionals the flexibility to pursue an Associate Degree in Nursing while continuing to serve their patients and communities. By providing an evening option, Bevill State is making it easier for LPNs and Paramedics to advance their education and broaden their career opportunities.
