Capstone Health is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a New Access Point grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to establish a community health center in Fayette, Alabama.
This award represents an important expansion for Capstone Health and advances its mission to provide accessible, high-quality health care to individuals and families in communities where access to care is limited.
Senator Matt Woods, Alabama Senate District 5, said, “I am excited to welcome Capstone Health to Fayette and congratulate them on receiving this important federal grant. Access to quality health care is essential to the strength of our rural communities, and bringing additional services closer to home will make a real difference for families throughout Fayette County and the surrounding area. I appreciate Capstone Health’s investment in our community and look forward to seeing Capstone Fayette serve the people of Northwest Alabama for many years to come.”
The Capstone Fayette facility will offer a range of services to residents of Fayette and surrounding communities, including primary care, pediatrics, women’s health, behavioral health, and other support services. Additional services will be added as the health center develops and community needs are identified.

Founded in 2001, Capstone Health has served communities in Northwest Alabama for 25 years. What began as a single location has grown into a multi-site health care system providing comprehensive services to patients of all ages. The addition of the Fayette facility will further expand Capstone Health’s ability to serve individuals and families across the region.
Planning and development are underway. Additional information regarding the facility location, services, and anticipated opening date will be shared as plans progress.
