Meet Reid Cornelius, a junior at Sumiton Christian High School whose talents extend beyond the sports arena. As a two-sport athlete, Reid makes a significant impact as a lineman on both offense and defense in football under coach Jarius Williams and as a catcher in baseball for coach Ricky Bowen.

In addition to his athletic commitments, Reid is an outstanding student with a GPA of 3.6. When he’s not on the field or in the classroom, Reid enjoys working out with friends and duck hunting, especially in Arkansas, which he describes as the “duck capital of the world.”

As he anticipates his graduation in May 2026, Reid plans to study sports medicine at Mississippi State University.

Reid is the son of Matt and Amanda Cornelius.

Congratulations, Reid, on your athletic and academic accomplishments. We wish you the best in your future endeavors! WL
