Baptist Health System Appoints Award Winning CEO and Author Brandon Wilson to Board of Trustees

Baptist Health System announces the appointment of Brandon Wilson, Executive Chairman of Wilbron Inc., to their Board of Trustees.

“We are thrilled to have Brandon join the Board of Trustees,” stated Amy Allen, President and CEO of Baptist Health System. “He will be a tremendous asset to our organization as he brings a unique skillset with exceptional public relations and strategic leadership expertise, along with being a strong community advocate.”

Mr. Wilson founded Wilbron, Inc., an award-winning public relations and management consultancy responsible for helping Apollo Global Management establish its $100 million corporate foundation — the Apollo Opportunity Foundation — and was instrumental in helping Ares Management and Oaktree Capital Management establish AltFinance, a program that prepares Black college students for success in the alternative investment industry. In Birmingham, Brandon’s strategic leadership has resulted in the Birmingham Education Foundation, i3 Academy, Birmingham Career Academies, Bronze Valley, Sloss Furnaces Museum and Visitors Center, and introduced Apple to the Magic City to form EdFarm. Brandon is also the author of Sabotage: Leadership that Overcomes Betrayal, Theft and Deceit. His work has influenced projects that have won both an Emmy and Academy Awards, and his executive consultancy has served leaders at some of the world’s most influential companies. Mr. Wilson is a graduate of Auburn University; and is a 2023 inductee into the Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) College of Fellows.
