Meet Nick Phillips, a Cordova High School senior whose talents extend beyond the sports arena.

A two-sport athlete, Nick has been making waves as a guard in basketball for coach Nathan Sanders and a player in baseball for coach John Michael Knighton.

“The atmosphere during basketball games gets my adrenaline going definitely after making a tough bucket, and everyone is cheering you on,” Nick says.

Nick has also proven himself to be a remarkable student. When he’s not busy with sports commitments, you might find him cracking open a chemistry book, his favorite subject.

As he looks ahead to his graduation in May 2024, Nick plans to attain a degree in Kinesiology to become a physical trainer.

Nick is the son of Josh and Melissa Phillips.

Congratulations, Nick, on your athletic and academic accomplishments. We wish you the best in your future endeavors! WL
