Cordova’s Lillie McGuff signs with Northeast Alabama Community College

Cordova High School senior Lillie McGuff has taken a significant step forward in her softball career. On a Tuesday, Lillie signed with Northeast Alabama Community College in Rainsville, Alabama, solidifying her commitment and passion for the sport.

Her parents, Tommy and Jammie McGuff, expressed their pride, saying, “It’s unreal. It starts when they are little, and you do think about this. It’s like a dream that this is happening.”

Lillie’s coach, Brandon Millican, commended her, stating, “Lillie is a really good kid and hard worker. She makes good grades, and she’s a four-year starter for us.”

Lillie herself reflected on the event, saying, “It’s an ample opportunity to get a chance to go play. Thank you all who pushed me to the point where I can accomplish all this! It’s been an incredible journey.

Congratulations, Lillie! We look forward to seeing you continue to succeed in your academic and athletic careers. WL
