Walker County is always teeming with exciting goings-on, and there is something for every age group to enjoy! Especially this close to the Holidays, you can be on the lookout for events to have fun with the kids, enjoy delicious foods, and even do some early Christmas shopping. From Paint Parties to Early Christmas Festivities to Saturday Brunch, here are seven events you can catch in Walker County this week (November 6 – 12, 2023).
Tuesday, November 7
- Garfield’s Painting Pals Turkey Time Event with Art & Soul Studio

- Sumiton Veterans Day Event

- Young Jewelers Annual Ladies Night

This event will benefit Rescuers United for Furbabies (RUFF). Tickets are $10 per person, with Bingo rounds 1, 2, and 3 costing an additional fee of $1, $5, and $10, respectively. Join Tallulah and RUFF for fun and a good cause!

Saturday, November 11
- Christmas in the Village, hosted by Diva Nutrition/The Design Diva
This event has something for the whole family. Bring your kids for pictures with Santa, handprint ornament painting, and take-home cookie decorating kits for even more fun afterward. - 2nd Annual Veteran’s Day 5k Fun Run and ½ Mile Fun Walk – Hosted by the American Legion Woods-Smith Post 9
Electronic payments are accepted at registration, and all proceeds will go to the American Legion Family Boy/Girl State Programs and Child & Youth Programs!

- Saturday Brunch at Tallulah
