Coming into the game, Dora was looking for a statement win over Haleyville. However, miscues led to a slow start for the Bulldogs and Haleyville went in to the half with a 14-6 advantage.
The second half proved to be a much different story. The Bulldogs adjusted and began to do little things well, providing great blocks that led to touchdowns and limiting the penalties. Dora scored three touchdowns in the 3rd quarter alone to take a 28-14 lead, and there was simply nothing the Lions could do.
