Meet CJ Harlan, a senior at Sumiton Christian High School and the son of Chris and Kelli Harlan
A two-sport athlete, CJ plays slot receiver and linebacker in football for coach Jeremy Moon, and he catcher in baseball for coach Ricky Bowen.
CJ has also proven himself to be a remarkable student, upholding a 4.0 GPA.
When he’s not busy with sports commitments, you might find CJ studying Sociology, his favorite subject. He is also a proud member of the National Honor Society, Beta Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and Sumiton Christian Ambassadors.
When discussing this football season, CJ said, “I wear green wrist tape this year because one of my friends, Yancey Young, got diagnosed with lymphoma. So, our class tries to bring awareness to every game.”
As he looks ahead to his graduation in May 2024, CJ plans to pursue attend Bevill State Community College.
