Vikings Fall to Ramsay, Face Fairfield on Thursday

The Jasper Vikings dropped a regional contest 55-6 to Ramsay (2-1) on Friday night at Ki-Ro Gambrell Field in Jasper. Halfback Micah Pledger scored the Vikings’ lone touchdown and rushed for 71 yards on 20 carries. The sophomore also had three receptions for 42 yards.

Viking quarterback Tanner Morrow was 9-for-26 passing for 69 yards. Carter Reed had three receptions for 17 yards and Titus Waldrop had two receptions for 11 yards.

Defensively, Conner Elmore led the Vikings with seven tackles. Roman White contributed six tackles, while Luke Horsley, Zion Coger, and JoJo Odom had five each.

The Vikings (0-2) face Fairfield (0-3) on Thursday night at home. The Tigers lost to John Carroll Catholic 45-28 on Friday. WL
