Dora Crushes Curry in First Regional Game

The Curry Yellow Jackets hosted Dora in a 4A regional matchup on Friday, September 8, falling 61-14 to the Bulldogs.

Dora senior wide receiver Josh Williams had two rushing touchdowns, while sophomore wide receiver and cornerback Cleveland Jones had two receiving touchdowns. Korion Pryor, Jayden Griffin, Colby Key, Dillon Watson, and Kaleb Pryor added one touchdown each.

Curry sophomore running back and strong safety Kameron Miles had two rushing touchdowns for the Yellow Jackets.

On the defensive side for the Bulldogs, William Richardson and Jayden Griffin both had fumble recoveries, while Richardson blocked a Curry punt attempt.

With the victory, Dora moves to 2-1 on the season and Curry moves to 0-3.

Dora hosts Haleyville in a regional game this Friday at 7 p.m., while Curry travels to face Northside in a regional contest. WL
