Tony Emerson is the General Manager at Robinson and Sons Auto Group in Jasper. We sat down with Tony to learn more about his background and his role at Robinson and Sons. Here’s what he had to say!
WL: How did you get into the car business?
TE: In 1987 I started as a lot boy at Walker Ford in Clearwater, Florida.
WL: How many years have you been in the car business, and how long have you worked at Robinson and Sons?
TE:33 years in the car business, and 1 year with Robinson and Sons.
WL: What was the first car you ever sold?
TE: 1966 Volkswagen Wagon
WL: What is your favorite thing about working for Robinson and Sons?
TE: I love the family atmosphere. I’ve learned that when you enjoy what you do for a living, you tend to work harder!
WL: What is great about a car from Robinson and Sons?
TE: We inspect and service every vehicle we sell. We do that so every customer has peace of mind.
WL: What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
TE: I spend as much time as possible with my family and friends at the lake. I enjoy watching my kids play baseball and cheer for Curry High School. Go Jackets!
