“There are so many opportunities available to high school students through Dual Enrollment at Bevill State. The College wants to provide parents, guardians, and high school students a chance to learn more about our dual enrollment programs and possible funding sources,” stated Dr. Joel Hagood, President of Bevill State Community College. “I encourage anyone with a current high school student to attend and learn how Bevill State can help your child in getting ahead with their college coursework with our academic transfer, health science, or career tech offerings.”

These informative programs will provide a brief overview of dual enrollment but will be primarily in a question-and-answer format allowing parents to address their inquiries to the College. The purpose of Dual Enrollment at Bevill State Community College is to provide an opportunity for qualified high school students to enhance their education by enrolling early in college courses. Students are able to experience college-level courses, explore career options, and shorten the time required to complete a college degree by having the opportunity to earn high school and college credit simultaneously. Students that will be going into 10th, 11th, and 12th grades that meet GPA and dual enrollment criteria are eligible to participate. For more information on Bevill State Dual Enrollment visit WL
