MONTGOMERY, ALA. – State Senator Greg Reed (R-Jasper), President Pro Tempore of the Alabama Senate, today announces the awarding $15,000 in funding to HARTT in Jasper, Alabama.

HARTT is a local nonprofit organization that specializes in trauma-informed care, therapy, and family support for children in need.

“Children are the future of our communities, and providing resources to ensure they have the opportunity to be supported and loved is important,” said Senator Greg Reed. “The work that HARTT does to help children and their families who have gone through difficult situations is inspiring, and I could not be more thankful for their commitment to long term health and success for people who are in need.”

“On behalf of HARTT, we thank Senator Reed for his unwavering support and generous funding,” said Tina Aaron, Program Director at HARTT. “His commitment has been instrumental in enabling us to provide essential mental health services to children and families in need. His dedication to this cause is making a profound difference in our community, and we are truly grateful for his continued partnership.”
