Meet Carter Reed, a Jasper High School junior whose talents extend beyond the sports arena. A multi-sport athlete, Carter has been making waves as a wide receiver and linebacker in football for coach David Reeves, a wrestler in the 175-pound class for coach Tripp Otis, and a center back in soccer for coach Gunter Wisdom.

“My favorite sport of the three is wrestling because I’ve learned the most through the coaches. The sport has taught me so many life lessons, plus it is what I am best at,” he explains.

Carter has also proven himself to be a remarkable student. Carter maintains an outstanding 4.5 GPA and is a proud National Honor Society, Beta Club, and Talent Search member. He also serves as a class officer and ambassador.

As he awaits his graduation in May 2025, Carter plans to study chemical engineering at the University of South Alabama.

Carter is the son of Davey and Elizabeth Reed.

Congratulations, Carter, on your athletic and academic accomplishments. We wish you the best in your future endeavors! WL
