Coming Up in Cordova

The City of Cordova has several community-wide events coming up, giving participants the chance to support local organizations, support the city, learn valuable skills, and have fun!

Easter Egg Hunt

  • When: Saturday, March 30 | 10 AM – 2 PM
  • Where: Indian Head Mill Park | 411 School Street, Cordova, AL 35550

Enjoy a day of Easter fun for the whole family! Meet the Easter Bunny, hunt thousands of Easter eggs, and enjoy hotdogs and hamburgers for lunch. This event is free of charge, and all are welcome!

Quarterback Club Yard Sale

  • When: Saturday, April 6 | Beginning at 7 AM
  • Where: Downtown Cordova

Score great deals on all sorts of gently used items. All proceeds from the yard sale will benefit Cordova High School’s Quarterback Club!

Community Cleanup Day

  • When: Saturday, April 20 | Beginning at 8 AM
  • Where: Cordova City Hall

Meet in front of Cordova City Hall to enjoy coffee and donuts and work with other community members to clean up, freshen the city’s appearance, and prepare for summer activities.

CordovaWorks Summer Program

CordovaWorks is a summer program for high school students and recent graduates. Participants work with the city’s Public Works Department and the Children’s Summer Program while learning career skills and earning $10 per hour. Applications are accepted until April 1, 2024, and can be obtained and submitted in person at Cordova City Hall or online here.
