LeaderSports Featured Athlete: Kensley Horton, Curry High School

Meet Kensley Horton, a senior at Curry High School who makes an impact as an outside hitter and defensive specialist in volleyball for coach Anna Claire Harris.

Beyond her athletic achievements, Kensley is a standout student and likes to study history. She boasts an impressive GPA of 3.5 and is an active member of various clubs, including the National Honor Society, Beta Club, Future Business Leaders of America, Spanish Club, and Family, Career and Community Leaders of America.

As she approaches her graduation in May 2024, Kensley is actively exploring college options for potential volleyball scholarship opportunities.

“It’s bittersweet. I’m ready to graduate but will miss so many people here,” Kensley says.

Kensley is the daughter of Jeff and Lauren Horton.
