Meet Anna Stone, a Dora High School senior whose talents extend beyond the sports arena. Anna has been making an impact as a defensive specialist in Volleyball for coach Kimber Sanford.
Anna has also proven herself to be a remarkable student, with a perfect 4.0 GPA. When she’s not busy with sports commitments, you might find her cracking open a book on English, her favorite subject. Anna is also a proud member of the Beta Club, Water Watch, Family, Career and Community Leaders of America, and Peer Helpers. She is also a Junior Ambassador for the Walker County Chamber of Commerce.
“My mom motivates me for sure. I’ve always loved being in academic clubs and being a leader. I enjoy sports, but academics is a big thing to me.” Anna says.
As she awaits her graduation in May 2024, Anna plans to attend Wallace State Community College for Sonography.
Anna is the daughter of David and Stephanie Stone. WL
