“My mom was a cheerleader, and I have always wanted to be like her!” - Mackenzie Easterwood

Meet Mackenzie Easterwood, a Dora High School senior and the daughter of April Boshell and Bobby Easterwood. Mackenzie is a three-time county champion cheerleader for coach Katie Carden.

When speaking about her passion for cheerleading, Mackenzie explains, “My mom was a cheerleader, and I have always wanted to be like her!”

Mackenzie is also an impressive student, upholding a 3.0 GPA. Her favorite subject is English.

As she awaits her graduation in May 2024, Mackenzie plans to become a cosmetologist and eventually attend school to attain a business degree.
