The Jasper Herb Society will host its 15th annual Herb Day fundraiser on Saturday, April 18, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Plantique.
This family-friendly event will include herbal refreshments, handcrafted products, recipes, and advice from members of the Herb Society and The Plantique staff. A portion of the day’s herb sales will benefit the Jasper Herb Society.
Now in its fifth consecutive year at The Plantique, Herb Day continues to grow in popularity as locals gather to learn about the many uses and benefits of fresh herbs.
Nevada Frye, owner of The Plantique, previously told The Walker Leader, “We love hosting Herb Day here at the Plantique! Our customers enjoy meeting with the members of the Herb Society and learning recipes and remedies from them, and they’re just the nicest, sweetest group of people.”
The Plantique by Professional Landscaping Inc. is located at 2223 N Airport Rd in Jasper. Spring business hours are Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. For updates and event details, visit The Plantique on Facebook.
The Jasper Herb Society, established in December 2000, is a community group of herb enthusiasts. They meet the second Tuesday of every month at the First Presbyterian Church on 4th Avenue in Jasper. WL
