The Walker County Arts Alliance is proud to present the return of the Budding Artist Exhibit, an annual showcase celebrating the creativity and talent of student artists from across Walker County.
The exhibit is open to elementary, middle, and high school students working in a variety of mediums, including drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, sculpture, and digital art. Students are invited to submit up to two pieces of artwork for consideration.
Artwork drop-off will take place at the Walker County Arts Alliance Gallery from March 30 through April 10. All submitted work must be ready to hang or display upon arrival.
The community is invited to attend the closing reception on April 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the WCAA Gallery, where these young artists and their work will be celebrated.
This year’s exhibit is made possible thanks to the generous support of The Walker Area Community Foundation, Nelson, Bryan, Boylen & Cross, Honda of Jasper, Bevill State Community College, Bivona Family Dental, and Bivona Chiropractic Clinic.
