Ridgeview Health Services in Jasper will bring the Christmas story to life with their thirteenth Live Nativity on Thursday, December 11, 2025, with presentations at 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m., and 7 p.m.

The event portrays the biblical account of Jesus’ birth as told in the book of Luke.

The Live Nativity has become a cherished community tradition, drawing attendees from Ridgeview, Ridgewood Health Services, and the surrounding area.

The storytelling features a collaborative cast, including Ridgeview residents, staff members, family, and friends. Live animals are also part of the annual show to help enhance the scene’s authenticity. Guests are welcome to interact with the animals before and after the three separate presentations.

In addition to the residents and staff, the Live Nativity welcomes families, friends, and members of the public, many of whom return annually to experience the beloved tradition.

Ridgeview and Ridgewood Chaplain David Wallace shared his thoughts on the event’s significance, saying, “There are a lot of stories told at Christmas, but there is only one Christmas story, and that is the one we share here tonight. We want to offer it visually to the community to say, ‘This is what it’s all about.’ It is a blessing to work for people who allow us to do this.” WL
