Burton Campers is officially open in Jasper.
“Mr. Clayton Burton had a location here in Jasper before we were incorporated, so the business is actually coming back to where the Burton family started it in the 1970s,” said General Manager Jody Garner.
The new location at 2911 Viking Drive opened with strong momentum, selling four units in its first two weeks of business without any advertising. Garner noted the positive response to the parts and service department in particular, saying the support from the local community has been immediate and encouraging.
Garner, who manages both the Calera and Jasper locations, will be splitting time between the two. “It’s really exciting to have a Burton Campers presence in Jasper,” he said. “And personally, it’s nice to feel reincorporated into the community where I grew up.”
Burton Campers, Inc. has been serving RV enthusiasts since 1975 and is one of the Southeast’s largest exclusive Jayco dealers. The company offers a wide selection of new and used motorhomes, fifth wheels, and travel trailers, along with full-service, insurance, and warranty repairs.
