Napoles Barber Shop 2 is sporting a fresh new look.
The family-owned shop recently underwent a full remodel, adding new flooring, fresh paint, upgraded lighting, and top-of-the-line barbering chairs at each station. The number of stations was also expanded, from eight (including one child-sized setup) to ten, accommodating each member of the growing team.

“We’re continuously trying to better our business for our customers,” says Juan Cacatzun, who works alongside his parents, Gabriel and Luisa. “We added more waiting chairs, too, because we were getting full at times, and people were standing up to wait for our services. Just by making these changes, we hope people see the effort we’re putting in to making this a more welcoming environment for them.”
Since the shop moved to its current location on Highway 78 West in 2021, Napoles 2 has become a go-to for men’s and children’s haircuts, earning a reputation built on word-of-mouth and consistent service.

Juan added that a new parking lot may be the next big step, although it will take time and resources. But as with everything the Cacatzun family has done since coming to the U.S. from Guatemala in 2004, progress will come steadily, and always with the community in mind.
“When my family came here, the goal was to contribute to the community and help improve people’s self-image,” Juan says. “Every single person matters, and helping them feel more confident is important to us.” WL
