Key players to watch include Dewayne Brown of Hoover, Peyton Wiggins of Huffman, Malachi Reed of Enterprise, and Miller Moody of Jasper.
Heath Burns, the assistant tournament coordinator and head coach of Jasper varsity basketball, is enthusiastic about the event and emphasizes its potential to inspire young athletes in Jasper.
“It’s a really cool deal to see teams travel so far to play good basketball,” Burns said. He hopes the tournament will promote Jasper basketball and encourage a new generation of players.
