Meet Maddie Homan, a student at Oakman High School who has embraced her senior year by stepping out of her comfort zone.
Maddie joined the cheerleading team this year, making an impact under the guidance of Coaches Kaitlyn Latham and Leanna Gann.
Reflecting on her high school journey, Maddie shares, “For the first three years of high school, I was kind of reserved and didn’t really want to be a part of anything. But in my senior year, I decided to get out of my comfort zone and try something new.”
Outside of cheerleading, Maddie is a dedicated student involved in Upward Bound and is a proud member of the Lucky Thirteen Club.
Looking ahead to her graduation in May 2025, Maddie has her sights set on a career in healthcare or as a flight attendant.
Maddie is the daughter of Stephanie Hagood.
