Meet Noelia Del Rio, a standout junior at Carbon Hill High School whose talents shine both on and off the field.
Noelia is a dedicated athlete and a talented musician, serving as a clarinet player and band captain under the direction of Landon Nelson and as a 400-meter runner for track and field coach Jarrett Tuggle.
“I love band competitions,” Noelia says. “They are a little stressful when you are about to play, but then you can relax, enjoy the other bands, and meet other cool people.”
Beyond her athletic and musical pursuits, Noelia is an exemplary student with a 4.05 GPA. Her favorite subject is math, and she is an active member of the Beta Club and Upward Bound.
Looking ahead to her graduation in May 2026, Noelia plans to attend Bevill State Community College to pursue a career in cosmetology.
Noelia is the daughter of Roberto and Maria T. Del Rio.
Congratulations, Noelia, on your athletic and academic accomplishments. We wish you the best in your future endeavors! WL
