Tuesday, April 30
- Budding Artists Exhibit Closing Reception
When: 6 PM
Where: Walker County Arts Alliance | 1500 Indiana Avenue, Jasper, AL 35501
Join the WCAA for the Budding Artists Exhibit Closing Reception! This is your last chance to enjoy the artwork submitted by local budding artists. Light refreshments will be served.
Thursday, May 2
- 5th Grade Car Wash
When: 4 – 6 PM
Where: Maddox Intermediate School | 1410 Panther Trail, Jasper, AL 35501
Visit the circle in front of Maddox Intermediate school and support the fifth-grade class in their fundraiser! Car washes are priced at $5, but larger donations are appreciated! Mama E’s Food Truck will also be on site so you can enjoy a snack while your car gets clean.

- Casino Night & Silent Auction Fundraiser
When: 6 PM
Where: Jasper Civic Center | 204 19th Street East, Jasper, AL 35501
Join The Arc of Walker County for its annual Casino Night! Each ticket purchased comes with $1000 in casino bucks and a dinner buffet. Enjoy classic casino games such as craps, blackjack, bingo, and roulette, and a separate Texas hold’em tournament with an additional $25 entry fee. Saturday, May 4
- Spring Jubilee
When: 9 AM – 2 PM
Where: Courtyard on Front Street | Carbon Hill, AL
The Carbon Hill Women’s Club proudly presents Spring Jubilee! This family fun day will feature an open-air market with local products such as produce, ferns and other house plants, baked goods, candies, homemade bread, jams, jellies, soaps, and natural skincare. There will also be music from DJ Kevin Garner and a Star Wars-themed 5k Fun Run & Walk. Run or walk in your favorite Star Wars costume! - Front Street Car Show
When: Judging at 11 AM | Trophies at Noon
Where: Courtyard on Front Street | Carbon Hill, AL

- The Maker’s Market
When: Market: 9 AM – 2 PM | Car Show: 9 AM-Noon
Where: Walker County Center of Technology | 1100 Viking Drive, Jasper, AL 35501
This event, hosted by WCCT, will feature food trucks, a car show, and booths inside and outside the building. All interested vendors and car show participants must register by May 3rd by calling WCCT at (205) 387-0519. All booths must supply their own tables and power; car show setup begins at 8 AM.
- Love Walker County
When: 10 AM – 1 PM
Where: Walker County Courthouse Square | 1803 2nd Avenue, Jasper, AL 35501
Love Walker County was created by The Storehouse, pooling local resources to host a family fun day and give to those in need. The event will feature free clothes, food, diapers, health screenings, recovery resources, live music, giveaways, bounce houses, and more!
- Under the Stars: Stuart & Perry
When: 7 PM
Where: Bankhead House and Heritage Center Amphitheater | 1400 7th Avenue, Jasper, AL 35501
This 60s, 70s, and 80s musical performance will feature Stuart & Perry with special guests Aaron Branson, Don Hecklinski, and John O’Mary!
