Meet Dora High School senior Rosaisela Avilez, who demonstrates her athletic skills as a first baseman in softball for coach Braxton Whitlow.

Rosaisela’s involvement in extracurricular activities is equally impressive. She is a member of the Beta Club and Peer Helpers.

Rosaisela maintains a strong 4.4 GPA and plans to attend college and become an elementary school teacher.

“I love little kids and the way they think. Plus, I have been shadowing in the elementary school, and it has cemented that I want to do this,” she says.

Rosaisela is the daughter of Erika Diaz.
