On Thursday, April 11, 2024, the Alabama Back Institute celebrated its grand opening. Founded by Drs. Mark Prevost and Mark Prevost II, the facility in downtown Jasper is equipped with advanced spine care technology, including state-of-the-art open MRI and X-ray machines.
The ribbon-cutting event brought together community members who were introduced to the modernized space designed to offer comprehensive spine treatments. Alabama Back Institute focuses on specialties such as cervical and lumbar disc replacement, minimally invasive spine surgery, and cervical and lumbar fusion. Other services include deformity correction, cervical and lumbar epidural injections, and lumbar microdiscectomy.
