The Walker County Arts Alliance is hosting a Budding Artists Exhibit from April 1-30, 2024. The exhibit will display artwork from local high school, college, and homeschool students in multiple mediums, such as drawings, paintings, digital art, sculptures, pottery, printmaking, textiles, and photography.
“As advocates for the enrichment of arts within our community, the Walker County Arts Alliance is thrilled to present the Budding Artist Exhibit. By providing a platform for local high school, college, and homeschool students to showcase their talents across various mediums, we are advancing our commitment to integrate arts into our community’s fabric and fulfilling our mission to support and develop artistic endeavors in Walker County,” says Arts Alliance Board member Tana Collins-Allred. “This exhibit not only highlights the diverse talents of our youth but also fosters a deeper appreciation for the arts among our residents. We invite everyone to join us in celebrating the creativity and spirit of our area’s emerging artists.”
The exhibit will end with a closing reception on April 30, 2024, at 6 p.m. Be sure to stop by and celebrate the talent and creativity displayed by Walker County’s own! WL
