Terrie Berrie embodies the essence of a true ‘people person.’ Her genuine love for engaging with others and learning about them through conversation is a trait she carries with her wherever she goes. This aspect of her personality has remained steadfast since her days in high school and continues to define her approach to life.
After graduating from Carbon Hill High School, Terrie found herself waitressing a local restaurant when fate introduced her to Jeff and Jill Graham, owners of the local UPS Store. Impressed by Terrie’s infectious personality and eagerness to assist others, the Grahams wasted no time recognizing her potential. When Terrie expressed a desire for a career change, Jeff promptly offered her a job.
As an associate at the UPS Store, Terrie became enamored with the diverse customer base and flourished in her daily responsibilities. Within just one year, her dedication and proficiency led to her promotion to manager, a role she currently holds with pride.

As a manager, Terrie assumes responsibility for the store’s smooth operation in the absence of the Grahams. She also oversees daily activities and assists with various services, including shipping, copying, faxing, and notarization. A self-described workaholic, Terrie readily invests eleven to twelve hours daily, six days a week, into her job. Yet, far from viewing it as a burden, she expresses genuine adoration for her work and has no intentions of seeking employment elsewhere.
“This is my second home. I never go anywhere else,” Terrie laughs. “But I love the customers. I’m a people person, and I’m very eccentric and outgoing. I love seeing customers from my old job and getting to meet new people. As long as the store is open, I’m planning to stay here. I’ve worked my way to being manager, and I foresee myself being here for a long time.”
In her leisure time, Terrie enjoys spending time with her family, indulging in crafting and jewelry-making, scouring the aisles of TJ Maxx, and visiting her favorite restaurant, Red Pearl.
Terrie Berrie’s vibrant personality shines through in all she does, making her a cherished presence at the local UPS Store and in the Walker County community. WL
