The Pregnancy Test & Resource Center (PTRC)’s Celebrating the Gift of Life Gala will be held on Friday, February 23, 2024. Author Natalie Brumfield will be the event’s guest speaker.
In August 2023, the PTRC staff visited the 2024 Care Net Conference. While finding a speaker for 2024’s gala had proved difficult beforehand, the PTRC crew met Brumfield, heard her story, and knew God had provided the right person.
Natalie Farber Brumfield hails from Birmingham, Alabama, and is an adoptive mother and advocate for foster parents. She openly supports the pro-life cause through writing, having published work in Charisma Magazine, Charisma News, Life Site News, The Christian Post, and Live Action. She also authors children’s books and published her first one in 2020, entitled, “The House that Love Built,” using her family’s story to explain adoption as one of God’s creations.
Brumfield actively leads Bound4LIFE Birmingham, a persistent prayer movement in favor of eradicating abortions, increasing adoptions, and turning government officials to Christ. She also serves as a volunteer counselor at her local pregnancy resource center and coordinates its donation drive, serves in her church’s foster care outreach ministry, and is involved in Pink Incense Women’s Ministry and Life on Wheels Birmingham.
Inside the home, Natalie raises seven children with her husband, Matthew, and continues to instill in them the value of life & leadership through Jesus Christ.
