On Tuesday, January 30, the Sumiton Christian Eagles hosted a thrilling match against the Berry Wildcats at the Eagles Nest in Sumiton, Alabama. The boys’ team secured a decisive 72-52 win, while the girls’ team claimed victory with a final score of 54-39.

Leading the charge for the Eagles Boys were standout performances from Jonah Marshall, who contributed 20 points, Conner Drummond with 15 points, and Rusty McDonald, who added 12 points to the scoreboard.
Meanwhile, the Eagles Girls demonstrated their prowess with noteworthy contributions from Calie Corley, leading the team with 16 points, followed by Addison Hogland and Annalece Rice, contributing 9 points each.

Looking ahead, Sumiton Christian’s boys are gearing up for a playoff showdown against the Meek Tigers, scheduled to take place at home on February 6 at 5 p.m. Simultaneously, the Eagles Girls will be facing off against the St. Bernard Prep Saints in a pivotal playoff game at home on February 5 at 5 p.m. WL
