On Friday, January 19, 2024, Walker County District Judge Henry Allred was recognized for 15 years of service. The honor was presented by Alabama Supreme Court Justice Tom Parker at the Alabama Judicial Midwinter Conference (AJMC) in Montgomery, Alabama.

The AJMC is an annual conference organized by the Alabama Association of Circuit Court Judges and the Alabama District Judges Association. Each year, it brings Alabama legal professionals together to recognize issues, trends, and notable individuals in the state’s legal field.

“It is humbling to be recognized for serving the people of Walker County for the past fifteen years. Serving as District Judge is an honor and privilege. I plan to continue working in this capacity for as long as voters will have me. I truly appreciate all the prayers and words of encouragement,” says Allred.

In addition to this milestone, earlier this year, Judge Allred was elected by his peers to serve as the President of the Alabama District Judges’ Association.

The Walker Leader congratulates Judge Allred on this tremendous honor! WL
