The Pregnancy Test & Resource Center (PTRC) will host an Open House on Thursday, January 25, from 5-7 p.m. at its new location, 600 20th Avenue East, Jasper, AL 35501.

For years, PTRC has been a source of light and hope for expectant mothers and mothers of young children around the community. The center offers pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, prenatal care, counseling, and prenatal and parental education classes. Mothers of children up to two years old can also visit PTRC for food, clothes, diapers, and other essentials.

For those seeking housing, adoption services, or help with addiction or domestic violence, PTRC can connect mothers with organizations equipped to help. All services are free of charge, meaning PTRC relies heavily on the community to provide these services to those in need. Thus, the center is thrilled to host this open house and let the community see what its donations are funding.

PTRC Executive Director Jenny Odom says, “We wanted to hold off on hosting an open house until we could have everything furnished and set up so people can clearly see everything we do here. We received a grant from the Daniel Foundation allowing us to furnish everything, so we are very excited for everyone to come out and see our new space!”

Make plans to join the Pregnancy Test & Resource Center at its new location to celebrate the growth of this vital resource to Walker County! WL
