Monday, December 4
- “Festival of Lights” Tree Lighting at Carbon Hill High School
Come for live music from the school’s students, hot chocolate, apple cider, baked goods, games, snow, and Christmas crafts to purchase in support of the school’s clubs!

Tuesday, December 5
- The Chamber of Commerce of Walker County’s Annual Christmas Parade
When: 6:30 PM
Where: Following the usual Jasper parade route along Viking Drive
- Athletic Arts Center’s 12th Annual Christmas Show presented by Young Jewelers
Join Young Jewelers, in collaboration with the Athletic Arts Center, for a pre-parade Christmas Show. The show is free to attend and will feature musical and dance numbers by the students of the Athletic Arts Center!
When: 5 PM

Thursday, December 7
- Town of Parrish’s 2023 Parade and Christmas Tree Lighting
Come for hot cocoa and sweets, Christmas caroling, Santa, and a performance by the Oakman High School Band!
When: Parade @ 6 PM | Tree Lighting @ 7:30 PM
Where: New Location of Parrish City Hall
- “Dear Santa” – Hosted by White Pepper Real Estate
Bring the kids for pictures with Santa, sweet treats, and writing letters to Santa! Come drop your pre-written letter (with your child’s full name and address written on the envelope) in Santa’s mailbox on the building’s front porch or visit the letter-writing station and write one at the event. The event is free, and Santa will see children on a first-come, first-serve basis!

- Walker County Education Retirees Christmas Celebration
Join the Walker County Education Retirees for a Christmas Celebration performance by The Bevill State Choir!

Saturday, December 9
- Hydra Health and Wellness Christmas Celebration
Join the team at Hydra Health and Wellness for an afternoon of Christmas joy! Snap some Christmas photos with Santa, his elves, and even the mean ol’ Mr. Grinch, enjoy some Christmas cookies and hot chocolate, and make some Christmas crafts. IV hydration therapy will be available for purchase as well!

- A 21st Century Christmas Carol
Join the students of Maddox Intermediate for a 21st Century spin on the Christmas classic, A Christmas Carol! The cost to attend is $5 for adults and $3 for students.

- Polar Express Kids’ Pajama Party
Join Kingdom Impact Church in Sipsey for a fun afternoon of cookie decorating, hot chocolate, watching the Polar Express movie, and seeing Santa!
When: 3 – 9 PM

- City of Carbon Hill Christmas Parade
When: 6 PM
Where: Front Street, Carbon Hill
- Nauvoo Memorial Christmas Lighting
Bring an ornament to hang on the tree in memory of a friend or loved one. Refreshments will be provided, and the Nauvoo Community Club will also have ornaments available to purchase and/or personalize!

Monday, December 11
- Toy & Coat Drive
Help the City of Jasper Fire & Rescue give back to the community this holiday season! The drive will be for toys, coats, and non-perishable food items. All food items will be donated to the local food pantry, and the toys and coats will be given to the Jasper City Police Department to be distributed to families in need.
When: 2 – 4 PM

- Jasper Centerstage presents “A Trip to the Moon”

The cost to attend will be $10 for adults and $5 for students and children. Tickets will be cash only and sold at the door!
