The Dora Baseball Diamond Club presents the 2023 Dora Baseball Christmas Camp!

Young baseball enthusiasts aged seven to twelve are invited to participate in the camp, offering them a fun opportunity to develop their baseball skills while embracing the spirit of the holiday. Participants will have the unique opportunity to receive top-notch instruction from the experienced Dora baseball coaching staff and players. The camp will cover a wide range of baseball fundamentals, including throwing mechanics, defensive-specific fundamentals (infield, outfield, catching), hitting techniques, pitching mechanics, and base running. Participants are encouraged to bring their own equipment, including gloves, cleats, tennis shoes, bats, and batting helmets.

“This camp provides our future baseball players of Walker County and surrounding areas an opportunity to take different facets of the game of baseball, and be able to learn, apply, and develop what they learn to hopefully prepare them for success in their baseball endeavors.  Whether they are future Dora Bulldogs, or will be playing elsewhere, our goal is to give back to the game of baseball that gives us so much!” says Mark Glenn, Head Baseball Coach at Dora High School.

The Camp will take place on Thursday, December 21, 2023, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Dora High School baseball field and indoor baseball facility. The cost of registration is $25. Registration may be completed digitally here, or on-site beginning at 11:30 a.m. the day of the camp. Online registration completed by December 15 ensures a t-shirt for the participant and helps organizers better plan the day’s activities.
