Meet Trace Cagle, a junior at Oakman High School whose talents extend beyond the sports arena.

A two-sport athlete, Trace has been making waves as a linebacker in football for coach Ryan Hall and a power forward in basketball for coach Jeff Ward.

Trace has also proven himself to be a remarkable student. When he’s not busy with his sports commitments, you might find him cracking open a book on history, his favorite subject. “I like to read about the Roman Empire; that interests me a lot,” he says.

Trace has a GPA of 3.9.

As he looks ahead to his graduation in 2025, Trace plans to pursue higher education to become a history teacher.

Trace is the son of Jared and Vickie Cagle.

Congratulations, Trace, on your athletic and academic accomplishments. We wish you the best in your future endeavors! WL
