MONTGOMERY, ALA. – State Senator Greg Reed (R-Jasper), President Pro Tempore of the Alabama Senate, issues the following statement in response to the unprecedented attacks on Israel and its citizens by Hamas:
“Please join us in praying for the Israeli people today. I condemn the blatantly evil attacks by Iranian-backed Hamas terrorists targeting Israeli children, women, and men that we have witnessed over recent days.
The Biden Administration must change its position of pandering and appeasement towards Iran, the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism.
Israel has every right to respond with incredible force to defend itself from these barbaric atrocities. The United States and its allies must respond with unwavering support and overwhelming strength to these heinous assaults.
God’s Word tells us those who offer prayers and support to Israel, His chosen people, will also be blessed.
Alabama stands with Israel.”
