Meet Ava Brown, a Curry High School senior whose talents extend beyond the sports arena. The daughter of Scott and Mandy Brown, Ava is a two-sport athlete making an impact as a setter and defensive specialist in volleyball and a track team member, coached in both sports by Anna Claire Harris.

Ava has also proven herself to be a remarkable student. When she’s not busy with sports commitments, you might find her studying math, her favorite subject. Ava has a perfect GPA of 4.0. She is also a proud member of the National Honor Society, the Beta Club, the Student Government Association, and Future Business Leaders of America.

As she looks ahead to her graduation in May 2024, Ava plans to attend Bevill State Community College and then transfer to Athens State University to get a degree in Elementary Education.

“My mom is a kindergarten teacher, and I love working with kids,” Ava explained.

Congratulations, Ava, on your athletic and academic accomplishments. We wish you the best in your future endeavors! WL
