Meet Logan “Ham” Burton, a Cordova High School senior making waves both on and off the football field. The son of Brice Burton, Logan is a standout student-athlete.
Logan is a force to be reckoned with on the football field, showcasing his skills as both a Left Guard and Defensive Tackle for Coach Shane Smothers.
Logan believes that a hearty pregame meal is beneficial to his success. “My favorite thing I hope for when it comes to a pregame meal is that older ladies cook it. They put soul into their food, so it is the best!” he says.
Logan’s commitment to excellence extends beyond the football field. As a standout student, he excels in the classroom, with a particular fondness for math. His impressive 3.5 GPA reflects his dedication to balancing athletics and academics. Logan is actively involved in his school community as a proud National Honor Society and Beta Club member.
As Logan’s high school journey nears its end, he has set his sights on an exciting and meaningful career path. With a passion for helping others, he aspires to become a travel nurse. This profession will allow him to positively impact the lives of those in need.
