Meet Braxton Houston, a Jasper High School senior. Braxton is a two-sport athlete who has been making an impact as an offensive and defensive linebacker in football for coach David Reeves and a center in basketball for coach Heath Burns.
Braxton has also proven himself to be an extraordinary student. He has a 3.2 GPA, and his favorite subject is English.
Braxton got into sports because of his father: “He was a pretty good athlete, and I want to follow in his footsteps and even make my own by doing things he couldn’t do.”
Following his graduation in May 2024, Braxton plans to play college football and learn how to weld.
Congratulations, Braxton, on your athletic and academic accomplishments. We wish you the best in your future endeavors! WL
