The City of Jasper Housing Authority, in association with The Walker County Community Action Agency and Raising Arrows, will host its Back to School Bash on Wednesday, August 2, 2023. The event will be held at the Jim Petree Courtyard from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm.
There will be free food, games, and school supplies for the upcoming school year. While supplies last, any head of a household with school-aged children can come to take part in this giveaway.
Angelique Johnson, Director of Operations for Jasper Housing Authority, says, “Jasper Housing Authority is blessed to be able to come together and partner with our fellow community resources affiliates. We have the opportunity to assist the families in our housing community by lessening the financial load of “Back To School” and providing some of the supplies needed to help the children jump-start the school year focused and ready to learn.” WL
