Sumiton Christian Senior Noah Godwin is a two-sport athlete, playing linebacker and running back in Football for coach David Powell and forward in basketball for coach Jeremy Hall.
Noah has a perfect 4.0 GPA, and his favorite subject is chemistry. In addition, Noah is involved in other school activities, including the Student Government Association (SGA), Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), Beta Club, and the National Honor Society (NHS). He serves as an Eagle Ambassador, SGA Vice President, FCA Representative, and as the drummer in Sumiton Christian School’s Chapel Praise Band.
“My biggest influence when it comes to sports is my brother. He was a big basketball and football player. I took a lot of my playing style and a lot of who I am from him,” Noah explains. “I also took a lot from the seniors before me that played my positions and nurtured me through my freshman and sophomore years.”
After he graduates in May 2024, Noah plans to attend college and pursue a degree to become an architectural engineer.
Noah is the son of Ben and Michelle Godwin.
Let’s congratulate this outstanding student-athlete on his many accomplishments! WL
