Dora High School senior Abby Sandlin is a middle blocker and hitter in volleyball for coach Kimber Sanford.
Abby has a 3.9 GPA, and her favorite subject is science. She is also involved in several organizations, including Beta Club, Peer Helpers, First Priority, Student Government Association, and Family Career Community Leaders of America.
“How I overcome adversity is having the right mindset because you might need to play a different spot, and you just got to play as hard as you can win or lose,” Abby explained.
After graduating in May 2024, she plans to attend the University of Alabama at Birmingham to become an Optometrist.
Abby is the daughter of Greg and Jeannie Sandlin.
