Oakman Middle School recently achieved Level 1 certification in the Marzano High Reliability Schools program.

The High Reliability Schools (HRS) program, developed by Marzano Resources, aims to assist schools in transforming into proactive organizations committed to ensuring student success. The program is based on five progressive levels of performance that a school must master to become an HRS.

Oakman Middle’s Level 1 certification achievement indicates that the school has established a safe, supportive, and collaborative culture, which serves as the foundation for all subsequent levels. The school’s commitment to providing a positive and supportive environment for its students has been validated through data collected by the school and analyzed by Marzano Resources.

Oakman Middle School is devoted to improving the educational experience for its students by embracing the HRS program’s values and the school’s achievement of Level 1 certification is a significant milestone in their ongoing effort.

“Level 1 is all about laying the foundation for success and our faculty and staff have worked collaboratively to develop and implement strategies that lay the framework for our students to succeed academically and beyond,” said Principal Bart Lockhart.  “We want to constantly improve. No matter what situation we’re working with, improvement is our goal. We may do something well, but we’re always looking for ways to do it better for the benefit of everyone in our school.”

Lockhart also expressed gratitude for the faculty, staff, and students at Oakman Middle School for their cooperation and dedication to accomplishing this remarkable achievement. WL
